OUR STORY

LANEIGE has been an active participant in helping
preserve water resources for the past
10 years, based on the brand’s belief that water is
the key to not only beautiful skin, but a beautiful life.

To reach a more sustainable future,
we seek to keep our water pure
and clean by reducing our own impact on water and the
environment,
and by changing our own lifestyle habits.

Even the smallest actions can create change.

OUR PROMISE

  • Lifestyle Campaign

    We will work together with our customers
    to educate them
    about their own water footprint
    and how they can help preserve water
    in their daily lives through methods
    such as educational social media campaigns
    on our own platforms,
    as well as the platforms of influencer partners.

  • Sustainable Social Contribution

    In Korea, Laneige will participate in
    ocean purification projects
    and continue to make donations
    towards activities that address
    plastic issues
    and preserve water resources via reputable NGOs
    such as WWF Korea. This projects is planned
    to be expanded globally.

    We will continue to strive to develop products
    that are more sustainably designed to reduce
    the use of plastic,
    while striving
    to develop formulas
    that contain

BLUE MOVEMENT x WWF

LANEIGE partners with World Wide Fund for Nature(WWF)
for activities that protect water and the oceans.

WWF(World Wild Fund for Nature)

WWF is an international non-profit organization dedicated to environmental preservation,
that performs activities based on the global network that stretches
across nearly 100 countries and has over 5 million supporters.

To create a future where humans live in harmony
with nature,
WWF induces the preservation of biodiversity
and the recyclable use of natural resources
in a sustainable manner and endeavors to heighten awareness of the need
to reduce unnecessary consumption.

Over the past decade, the organization has also performed
environmental preservation activities
in Korea
as well and officially established WWF Korea in 2014.

    BLUE MOVEMENT CAMPAIGN

    The beginning of LANEIGE’s pleasant transformation
    to preserve the vitality found in pure and clean water.

    Partnership with WWF Korea to carry out ocean
    purification projects and to sponsor donations for
    sustainable water resource conservation
    and resolving plastic issues.

    RESCUE WALTER CAMPAIGN

    A portion of proceeds from selling LANEIGE Water sleeping
    Mask and Rescue Walter Campaign is donated to Team &
    Team, which is then used to support development of
    underground water and maintenance of existing facilities
    along Tana River, Kenya

    This campaign was also carried out in several global local offices
    to solve the drinking water improvement problem in each country
    by sponsoring each country's NGO activity.

  • line 2016 - 2019

    REFILL ME CAMPAIGN

    Each year, a portion of proceeds from selling LANEIGE Water
    Bank and Refill Me Bottle is donated to Team&Team, which is
    then used to support development of underground water
    and maintenance of existing facilities along Tana River, Kenya.

    In 2019, underground water was newly developed and
    drinking water pumps were installed in 3 villages along Tana
    River, and malfunctioning water pumps were repaired in 10
    villages.

  • line 2013 - 2015

    WATERFUL SHARING
    CAMPAIGN 2

    A portion of proceeds from selling LANEIGE products was
    partly donated to UNICEF to be used for Wash in School, a
    project for improving drinking water facilities in Asian
    countries.
    Also, by supporting a project dedicated to improving
    educational facilities, we contributed to invigorating the
    village and reducing inequality in education.

  • line 2010 - 2012

    WATERFUL SHARING
    CAMPAIGN 1

    A portion of proceeds from selling LANEIGE product sales
    was sent to Save the Children to support the building of new
    water tanks and the repair of old wells in Africa.
    Education on maintaining well in the school campus was
    conducted, to share awareness of the safe and clean water of
    life.
